Crucibl is in active product development with twelve provisional patent applications filed May 1, 2026 and a planned NSF SBIR Phase I research proposal in preparation. Pricing tiers will be published as the product ladder ships through 2026 and into 2027. Until then, the field guide and direct conversation are the entry points.
Crucibl's pricing is being designed around the four target segments — Prisons, International, Academic, Professional Education — with explicit budget-bracket framing for each. The general shape:
For individual faculty and faculty teams: a paid blueprint and subscription tier targeting faculty discretionary purchase authority. Designed so a faculty member can buy directly without institutional approval.
For departments and centers: annual contracts targeting department-chair or center-director signature authority below typical institutional procurement thresholds. Includes published co-design hours as a structural product component, not an add-on.
For institutions: tiered contracts by institution size, including federal SBIR pilot configurations, foundation-funded pilots for international and correctional deployment, and corporate enterprise contracts for regulated-industry on-premises deployment.
Specific tier pricing, co-design-hours allocations, and procurement language will be published as each tier ships. The mailing list is the canonical update channel.
Crucibl is actively in conversations with academic institutions, foundation funders, federal grant program officers, and corporate training operators. If your work intersects, write Chris directly — pricing will be developed in dialogue with the first deployments, not finalized in a vacuum.
